Corrie’s love for the AV industry started as early as 15 as a roadie and stagehand. It taught him the value of hard work and prompted him to pursue a diploma in Sound Engineering and later an Electrical Engineering qualification.
Over the past 20 years, Corrie has worked with some of the best sound, lighting and AV companies in New Zealand and South Africa, including 5 years as Senior Support Technician with South Africa’s largest AV distributor Wild & Marr. He has gained invaluable experience in designing, training, programming and commissioning the best industry brands including products from Harman Professional.
When not in the office, Corrie enjoys spending time with his wife and their fur babies and they can often be found exploring the beautiful walking, hiking and biking trails around Christchurch. With a love for all things electronic, his hobbies extend to robotics and electronics programming.
Corrie says that having a good understanding of how equipment works down to component level is a skill that he values greatly, as it assists him with the design and implementation of AV systems. He loves coming up with out of the box solutions for customers and is excited about the prospect of working with you to accomplish that!
