The C516 ML professional miniature instrument microphone is designed for use on accordions, pianos, guitar speakers and keyboard/organ cabinets.
The C516 ML comes with a wide variety of mounting options, such as screws and double-sided, solvent-free adhesive pads for easy installation on the instrument or amp. The included A400 adapter plate allows for easy mounting onto wireless body-pack transmitters PT40/45/450/470.
An optional MPA V L adapter allows for external phantom powering and wired XLR connection to the console.
The C516 ML has long been established as an industry-standard accordion microphone. The ideal way to mic up an accordion is to use 2x AKG C516ML microphones – one on the bass and one on the treble side – allowing for an accurate reproduction of its unique sound characteristics.
